Fever Fudge by Budotty Fever Fudge by Budotty
A fake advertisement for Fred and George’s Fever Fudge from the Skiving Snackbox!

I’d meant to make it look like an old-fashioned candy poster. I think that it turned out all right, in the end. I used watercolors and watercolor pencils, and then some marker for the words and the fake label and stuff. I’ve never actually had Fever Fudge, but I do have a friend who made it once. It works, apparently. Really, it gave her the fever and everything. Pretty nuts, yeah? She told me to make sure never to eat the red side first though. She made it with a group and one guy ate the wrong end first and his fever ended up actually making him really sick, so, yeah, kinda risky stuff.

Can you tell me which one is Fred and which one is George? I actually do know here. I remember thinking, “Okay, now I need to fix that on George… Wait, how do I even know for sure that that is George? I guess I don’t. And yet, I do… Strange, strange world.”

Man, I wish Harry Potter were real. Of course, I’d still just be some lame muggle anyways, but, whatever. I still wish it were real, just to be able to know that it is. Sooo brilliant.

I'm not sure how you make it exactly... I dare not take the risk. Ha, ha, ha. I think that she just found it online, anyways.

Beautifully rendered! This is watercolour, right? That's a difficult medium and this is fantastic. I just have one critique, I think that, even though it's watercolour, the lines could be a bit more definite. I don't mean use ink or something, but there's a thin white line between the figures and the backdrop that kind of takes away the impact and flow of the piece. However, this isn't a huge problem or anything, just something I noticed. I love this piece. It reminds me of ads from the 1940s-1960s. :D Excellent!

I did notice that after I had finished with it, but, I was feeling lazy and didn't want to take the time to pull out the paints again and fill it all in. Ha, ha, ha. Thanks though.
